In April 2016r. Marianna Bednarska won the 1. Prize and the Special Prize of the Beyerischer Rundfunk at the International Marimba Competition in Bamberg (Germany).

The solo recording for the Bayerischer Rundfunk appeared in the broadcast ‘On stage – Junge Interpreten’ on 13. August 2016.
