In August 2016 Marianna Bednarska won the 1. Prize and the Special Prize ‘Best Snare Drum Performance’ at the International Percussion Competition at Northwestern (Chicago, USA).

The Winners’ Concert took place on 4th of August 2016 in the Pick-Staiger Concert Hall of the Northwestern University.
